We officially announce that upcoming 7” vinyl single “Children Shouldn’t Play With Zombies” has been postponed to an early 2016 release on Larvae Productions. We’ve been forced to delay it due to several set backs and misfortune bad lucks we came across with and also so we could be 100% focused on the making of upcoming debut full length CD “Ways of Enclosure“. The band and Larvae Productions would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their patience and support over the past few months. It’s hard to be an Underground band with all the blood, sweat and tears that comes with it but, nevertheless, we love it all the way.
ALBUM RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT
Meanwhile, final countdown for the release of “Ways of Enclosure” CD has begun and we couldn’t be more thrilled about it! Spanish label Memento Mori will make it all possible on coming HALLOWEEN 2015 and worldwide distribution is guaranteed through Plastic Head [UK]. Produced by Dementia 13, “Ways of Enclosure” debut album will be available on the most devious day of the year (right after Christmas, of course): October 31, Halloween 2015.
Mighty Mark Riddick was in charge of the cover artwork. Some of his known works include bands like Master, The Ravenous, Avulsed, Centinex, Coffins, Cephalic Carnage and Imprecation, just to name a few.
In addition, besides the core band’s line-up which include members from other Portuguese acts like Pitch Black, Holocausto Canibal, Biolence and Grunt (Álvaro F., Marco S. and Z. Pedro), album recordings also gathered long time screamer N. Lima (ex-Secrecy) who previously recorded our CD EP and Marcelo A. (Colosso, ex-Heavenwood, WAKO, Sullen and Oblique Rain) in charge of the drums.
To finish things off, we asked our label’s mighty big boss Raúl Sampedro to let everyone know how he feels about the upcoming release of “Ways of Enclosure” CD.
Here’s what he had to say:
I’ve been anticipating “Ways of Enclosure” ever since we signed the band. The release date can’t come soon enough and I feel like I wanna tear my face skin apart out of impatience! In these days of trends and hypes, it’s about time that upright, genuine, uncompromising and gimmicks-free bands take Death Metal back to its original mouldy graveyard, and Dementia 13 will definitely be amongst those leading the march of the dead.
Well, in a couple of weeks we’ll return with the final gory details and remaining surprises regarding the album, cover artwork and maybe, just maybe, with the first EXCLUSIVE song preview. ;) And hopefully, you read this all the way down. Thanks! DEATH METAL SUPREMACY!
